The weather was perfect as residents, patients and visitors enjoyed Runnells Specialized Hospital of Union County’s eleventh annual Courtyard Carnival event. There was a lot to enjoy, from games like Plinko and Big Mouth Golf to treats like Italian ices and popcorn; the traditional game “guess the weight of the watermelon”; a petting zoo; a magician and a cartoonist.
“It was a fun summertime classic,” noted Union County Freeholder Chester Holmes, Runnells Liaison. “My thanks to the Activities Therapy staff for their usually exceptional job organizing this event, handling details large and small to make the day wonderful. Thanks also to Runnells Volunteer Guild for donating the prizes.”
